Govee Glide Music LED Wall Lights

Also as a normal light .
So much more than I expected.

...the mounting method is literally a few sticky pads which will only stick to a smooth surface. There are no other mounting options so if you don't have a smooth wall like me, then you're out of luck. Don't attempt to stick them up on a non-smooth wall or they'll just end up falling down all the time. The way I managed to get around this is I bought a sheet of perspex and mounted the lights to the perspex then mounted the perspex to the wall. Not a very elegant solution but it works and the lights haven't fallen down once. Another issue is that the music synchronisation only works from a mic built in or from your phone mic. Unlike Hue lights, you cannot sync music to your PC via an app you install. The lights do have an app you can install on your PC but, I couldn't get it to do anything other than turn the lights on or off. Even following their instructions to use the Razer app to sync the lights doesn't even work - it literally doesn't do anything but turn the lights on or off. So, will likely be replacing these for a Hue equivalent since I know they will do what I want them to do. Other than that, the lights are bright, the colours are excellent but particularly disappointing that the music syncing is poor at best and literally only relies on mic input only.

Great lights but the app lets it down would be better if you could dim the lights the presets are good but would be better if you had more options to edit preset function

I bought 2 sets as they were on offer, fantastic lights, hundreds of presets, very bright and rich in colour, highly recommend them
