Govee DreamView G1 Pro Gaming Light

Bought for the back of the TV i use with my Xbox. It's a 42 inch 4K TV so not exactly the specifications the lights are intended for. I only use the light bars as the back of my tv is a funny shape and wouldn't work with the light strip. I'm still very happy with the result for the fraction of the price of a Hue set up. I'd definitely recommend the lights to anyone who is considering them to enhance their gaming setup. It really helps with game immersion. I'

Since seeing videos of these products on social media i have loved getting them and setting them up. Although some screens are supposedly not suitable for their lights you can make it work.

So far i have the:
Gaming T1 camera and bars
T2 TV Dramview
5 Meter for under bed
Car footwell lights.

The app is great for setting them up and it remembers the last setting you picked. The function of control with google home and voice control is so cool. I just want them to do a 1 meter and even 15 meter LED strip for my ceiling as i have to use another brand atm for that.

The only issue product wise is the T2 TV light strip the silicon seems weak and when you try to bend it around your tv it can split, my first set died and they sent a 2nd T2 set. This one has also got splits in the silicon again but the lights are still working atm. The settings need to be tweaked for the video viewing to match the screen more accurately but there is plenty of YouTube vids to help.

One other review here suggested using 3M Velcro, this way you can easily move the setup between new TVs as it is expensive to keep buying for each new TV. Still holds very well.

Works terrible does not follow light the way it does on the promo and I’ll very flicky

Good quality product, except no matter what I do, just imposible to load camera for calibration in the same network using 2.4GHz.
So all the setup is just uncalibrated and colors not accurate.

Govee's lighting are awesome. A great improvement from the P1 light bars & cam.
With the additional neon light strip & the improved light bars. I'm running out of space in my room with all the nice Govee light products. The neat & stylist camera stands out more then the older camera but this one looks really cool, futuristic looking, makes it not bad on the TV.
There's one more set of lights I like to get to complete my total set up, is the 3d square shape light panels. But at the moment too expensive. But the new light bars & stripe is fair priced. Came down in price which is a bargain. Glad they desgin & created the upgrade. Just fantastic. Now I'm just wondering what Govee will come out with next to surprise me & get me spending more cash.
